???Digivice or Pokedex???

Today I got into an interesting debate between a few of my friends. My male friend and I were fighting for the fact that Digimon was just as good (possibly even better) as the Pokemon T.V. series. The two females of our group were under the impression that Pokemon was supreme ruler of the universe and that Digimon could go suck lemons. The real kicker of the deal was this, THEY had never even watched a single episode of Digimon.

Now we, being the upstanding gentlemen that we are, let them fight their points on the matter. After they had exhausted the point that 'DIGIMON ISN'T POKEMON' we decided it was time for us to enlighten them on the matter. Pokemon does have it's up points hands down. The games themselves are better with the designs, flow and over-all story (in our own personal opinions). The design of the characters are a little more... whats the word..... organic? A pokemon is a real life animal or object that they tweaked to look more cartoony and primary to the element they represent. Where-as in Digimon you take an animal, plant or in-animate object that already exists and add as much armor, guns and knives as you can fit on it.

After about half an hour of explaining the basis of the series (using references from pokemon to help them understand. I.E. digivolving is like a temporary evolve from pokemon) we had peaked their interests. They have agreed to give the series a chance if we could find them. This is where i'm having a minor problem. I have been scowering to find a good place watch the episodes on-line and have had NO avail so far. I'm either not looking properly (which is the case most of the time) or i'm just incompetant (also possible).

I guess the true meaning of this long post is to ask you guys. WHAT DO YOU PREFER? Do you wanna be a Pokemon Master? Or try and save the digital world?
